With a sound that is very much influenced by the wonderful noise produced by Pavement, Built to Spill, and other like-minded American Indie-rock bands of the 1990's, LA Font seems like a band that, through the power of time travel (thanks Doc Brown!), has been transplanted from that "Golden Age of Indie Rock" to our present time.
"Sharks", the A-side to their recently released single, is a straight-ahead head-nodder that might make you want to mosh in your bedroom, if you feel so inclined. Oh nostalgia....
Anyways, enjoy "Sharks"
LA Font - Sharks by thegrandeburrito The "Sharks"/"Lipsmack" single is out now, on 7" vinyl and digital format, via Sister City Records.
