With praise and buzz being generated by the likes of Stereogum and Buzzfeed , Friends, a musical collective from....you guessed it, Brooklyn, is a band whose hypnotic, seductive sound is influenced by the post-disco, dance-rock style that emanated, during the 1980's, in New York City.
"Friend Crush", the song that has been causing all this buzz, is lush, entrancing, and very seductive. You can't help but get lost in the rhythm of the song. Definitely a 'Song of the Year' candidate.
